Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis help please?

Ok my doctor said my spine toasted the bottom is a little curved anyways she said it was nothing serious and she did not send me nothing else and last night I read this could kill me an harm my lungs and heart is this true if my doctor saw no harm than I shouldn't worry right also this is called ALS for short but theirs a sickened called ALS also that's deadly and not curable these two have nothing to do with each other right thanks alot
