Why are women still doing most of the housework?

Even when two people are working men still tend to work more hours than their wives and even do the other kind of houseworks that women don't do (like fixing/repairing/maintaining things around the house for example). Funny how people tend to ignore the fact that men still perform/do the vast majority of all the difficult & dangerous job/tasks and are still expect to be the primary breadwinners.
