Hey girls, sorry for the awkward question, but can you help me out?

Okay, so I've seen questions on here asking if girls should shave pubic hair, and most said, "Not all the way, because then I feel like I'm with a child. But if not at all, it's like a forrest and gets in the way. Just trim it." So, can I just use regular scissors that I use for paper and other things, or are there special materials? Thanks
