Can I use movie quotes for a product I want to make, or are they copyrighted?

Technically, a book is just a bunch of sentences, but you can't copy and resell that either. It is copyrighted, you can't use it without permission/licensing fees, and it is going to be expensive to obtain for each quote you intend to use.
