Bad breathing - I have bad breathing right from my school days. I have consulted many doctors. But no cure.?

Bad breathing - curable or not? My dad says it is not curable it is heriditary. I am totally embarassed in life. I have this problem almost for 25 years. Can somebody help me? I live in Chennai.
